If you have been to any recent Articulate City events or followed us on Facebook, chances are you have noticed The Place Setting Company logo a few times. Articulate City is lucky to have a local, awesome, Fort Collins company on our side! Our very first Sponsor Spotlight had to be dedicated to The Place Setting company because it is owned and operated by the Original Original herself, Amanda Miller! Amanda is an active Articulate City member and all around great person. Articulate City is thankful for The Place Setting Company sponsorship!
Most recently, The Place Setting Company helped to execute the Garden a’Fare Beer Tour at the Gardens on Spring Creek. The Place Setting Company was kind enough to offer a great passport discount to Articulate City members for this event. We love that Amanda Miller is able to create amazing, engaging events and still has time to remember the little people like us.
People attend events – but they remember experiences. The Place Setting Company specializes in creative concepts and detailed, organized event planning for your business. The result? Meaningful, memorable, and engaging experiences for your guests, your employees and your community. Event planning, consulting services and creative community experiences are all part of the package at The Place Setting Company.
For more information, visit www.theplacesettingcompany.com! Oh, and be sure to follow The Place Setting Company on Facebook for tips and information on upcoming Fort Collins events!
If you have attended an Articulate City event in the last few years, chances are you have encountered this smart and bubbly former intern, Morgan! She recently transitioned from intern to head of our Support Committee. Her business savvy and communication skills make her a vital asset to our team. She just returned from a trip to Prague and is currently planning her life post-graduation! Learn more about Morgan here!
In an arts and culture group like ours, it’s important to have someone to turn to with any pop culture-related queries that arise. There’s no need to Google anything when in the presence of our own Rachel Timmons. Besides serving as the resident cultural trivia guru, Rachel volunteers on our marketing committee, and is the talent behind Articulate City’s latest website improvements. Read on and get to know more about Rachel, her many talents, and eclectic tastes.
At Articulate City we have been able to recruit some pretty fantastic committee members to join us. One such member is Courtney Allen. She brings amazing design, writing, editing and social media skills to the table! In addition to volunteering on our marketing team, Courtney is a web content editor for the National Park Service. We feel extremely lucky to have our very own Leslie Knope (really can’t ever resist a Parks and Rec reference) helping us promote Articulate City.

Meet Mayan Smith! A Fort Collins native, she recently became more active with Articulate City because she thinks it’s the best way to connect with others interested in the arts and (in her words) “take full advantage of what this amazing town has to offer.” We couldn’t agree more—and we’re thrilled that she not only decided to pARTy with us more, but she also volunteered to help out on our marketing team. Read more about all things Mayan, and see why we can’t wait to get to know her better! (read more)
Meet Articulate City’s Stephanie Meyer! We’re privileged to have this designer extraordinaire among our ranks. In addition to working her graphic design day job, Stephanie has launched her own custom necktie business, creating quirky, fancy, and made-to-order looks. And her efforts don’t stop there! Lucky for us, she volunteers on the Articulate City marketing team, and soon will be using her mad creative skills to get the word out about Articulate City events. Read more about Stephanie’s interests, and learn why we love to have this fun-loving, free-spirited gal around! (read more)

You guys, guess what? Articulate City turns SEVEN in 2013. ! We can’t believe it either. Ever mindful of the dreaded “seven year itch,” (the restlessness kind, not the Marilyn Monroe kind; we love that) Articulate City founders/co-queens Jeanie and Julie Sutter are blowing the organization’s skirt up this year. In the best way possible, by soliciting fresh ideas from some familiar faces, and by introducing (read more)
